COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH IN THE RIVOLI BAR

The Golden Apple

Whether The Rivoli Bar is your favourite spot for an evening cocktail in London and you wish to mix up your usual order, or you are looking for a new creation that embodies the taste of the season, our Cocktails of the Month offer an inspired new drink experience every month of the year.

The Head Mixologist of The Rivoli Bar uses state-of-the-art technology, refined mixology techniques and the finest quality ingredients to create unique, never-before-tasted cocktails that capture the essence of the month. From a warming, winter spice creation to enjoy after a stroll beneath Piccadilly’s twinkling Christmas lights, to a fresh and fruity serve come summertime before an afternoon at Wimbledon, the Cocktail of the Month in The Rivoli Bar is meticulously designed to complement the zeitgeist.

The Cocktail of the Month for April is: The Golden Apple

Believed to have grown in The Garden of the Hesperides, the apricot is often regarded as ‘The Golden Apple’ in Greek Mythology.  Not only coveted by the Ancient Greeks, the early-blossoming apricot is considered by many to bring luck and happiness in the new season.

Warm and tropical notes of Appleton 8 Year-Old Reserve are perfectly combined with apricot liquor and balanced with the citrus, pleasantly bitter flavours of Campari.

A Rivoli twist on the 1970’s ‘Jungle Bird’ cocktail, ‘The Golden Apple’ is a velvety smooth, invigorating aperitif, a sumptuous start to the Spring season.
