100 YEARS YOUNG.On the 24th May, 1906 The Ritz opened its doors to the public for the first time, and a legend was born. Created by the man dubbed "hotelier to Kings and King of hoteliers" by none other than Edward VII, The Ritz is still utterly true to its founder's vision. Although the preceding 100 years have naturally seen changes to the hotel, were César Ritz to walk in today, he would find his vision of the ultimate hotel resplendently alive.
