The Ritz London is the only hotel in the UK to have a certified Tea Master, Giandomenico Scanu, who travels around the world to various tea plantations to source our wonderful teas.

Afternoon Tea is served daily at 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, and 7.30pm.

Priced at £60 for adults and £40 for Children’s Afternoon Tea.

From 10 January 2022 and throughout the year, our quintessentially British Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is relocating to the hotel’s former Ballroom, located on the lower ground floor, due to restoration works. The entrance for Afternoon Tea at The Ritz during this time will be located on Piccadilly.

The Ritz prides itself on delivering the highest of service standards, therefore, we maintain our traditional values and do not include a discretionary service charge on your final account.

    The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant and Terrace. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery, The Ritz Garden and the Cigar Lounge), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, trainers and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.
