Please be aware that after you make your reservation at The Ritz, our team will never contact you by telephone to request credit card details to confirm your booking.
Before your reservation, we will email, SMS, or telephone you to ask you to reconfirm your reservation.
DRESS CODE
The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for Afternoon Tea and lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery, and Terrace), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, trainers, and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.
The dress code for children between the ages of 2 and 15 is smart casual. Jeans and trainers are permitted, but no sportswear.
MENU AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please inform us of any special dietary requirements at least 48 hours before your reservation. Unfortunately, if we are not told in advance or they are missing from your booking, we may be unable to accommodate them on the day.
To ensure we understand any requests clearly, your host will reconfirm your dietary requirements upon arrival.
Please note that our Epicurean Journey Menu in The Ritz Restaurant is only available for lunch before 1:30 pm and dinner before 8:30 pm. This menu, including dietary amendments, must be served to the entire table, and unfortunately, not all dietary requirements can be accommodated.
PAYMENT
The Ritz prides itself on delivering the highest service standards. Therefore, please note that a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill on all food and beverage items.
Please note that if you do not book the Live at The Ritz menu on Friday or Saturday dinners and during the festive season, Wednesday – Saturday dinners, an entertainment charge of £55 per person will apply.
No charge has been made to the credit or debit card details given when booking. The card will not be charged provided you fulfil your reservation or cancel within the cancellation period detailed below. Following your meal, you will be presented with a bill.
If you use a Ritz Afternoon Tea, Ritz Restaurant, or monetary voucher as payment, please ensure you bring your original voucher on your visit to The Ritz. Before your visit, you must provide us with the serial number of your voucher, which is printed on your voucher.
If you have lost your original voucher, it has been stolen or expired, or you do not bring it with you, it cannot be replaced or reprinted. Your bill must be settled before leaving if the voucher serial number cannot be provided.
Kindly note that should you wish to prepay for a reservation in advance, we kindly ask you to email us at [email protected] so we can arrange a secure payment link to be sent to you to complete a prepayment. Please note that we require the payment three days before your dining reservation to process it. The bill will be presented if we do not receive pre-payment three days before your reservation.
CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENTS
Cancellations and amendments can be made up to 48 hours before your reservation without charge. If you fail to arrive, cancel, amend, or reduce the number of guests within 48 hours of your reservation, the card details given at the time of the booking will be charged the prices below for each party member. Cancellations and amendments to Ritz Restaurant reservations for seven or more guests in the same sitting can be made up to seven days before your reservation date without charge.
If you decide to cancel your hotel accommodation reservation, please note that all reservations linked to that period will be automatically cancelled, including any dining reservations.

TRAVEL AND ARRIVAL
Please plan to arrive at least five minutes before your reservation time.
Afternoon Tea service lasts between 1 hour 30 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes.
The nearest underground station to The Ritz London is Green Park, which is served by the Piccadilly, Victoria, and Jubilee lines. The hotel is also a short walk from Hyde Park Corner and Piccadilly Circus underground stations.
Valet parking is available at the Arlington Street entrance. Valet parking lasts at least four hours and is charged at £40. Should you require parking for more than four hours, please advise the doorman upon arrival at the hotel to avoid a penalty charge.
