Located moments from The Ritz, the Royal Academy of Arts presents the first major exhibition of legendary artist David Hockney's landscape work in the UK. Hockney has achieved international success throughout his career and is widely considered the best-known British artist of his generation.
Vivid paintings inspired by Yorkshire landscape, many large in scale and created specifically for the exhibition, will be shown alongside related drawings and films. Through a selection of works spanning fifty years, this new body of work will be placed in the context of Hockney's extended exploration of and fascination with landscape.

A new menu, inspired by our British heritage and the discerning tastes of the 21st century Anglophile's palate, invites diners to join a journey of the senses where the once simple yet elegant smoked salmon sandwich is enhanced with lemon-infused butter between freshly baked rye bread; the humble cucumber sandwich bursts with flavour, layered with a dill and chive seasoning and mouth-watering caraway seed bread; rich cheddar cheese fuses with sweet chutney and sticky onion bread; and the down-to-earth ham sandwich reaches gastronomic heaven with homemade grain mustard mayonnaise and guilt-rich thick white bread.
To accompany, a new selection of the finest pastries Great Britain has to offer, lovingly created in-house by a team of skilled pastry chefs who are dedicated solely to the preparation of Afternoon Tea.
