Champagne and Wine Dinners

The Ritz London is proud to announce a selection of exclusive dinners with carefully selected luxury Champagne and wine houses in 2017.

The evenings will commence with a Champagne and canapé reception in the grand 18th century surroundings of William Kent House adjoined to The Ritz London.

These events are ideal for all Champagne and wine lovers who seek to learn about the artistry behind each of the selected vintages and indulge in a delectable meal.

FRIDAY 21st APRIL 2017- ROYAL WARRANT HOLDERS

Featuring the Royal Houses of Laurent-Perrier, Mumm, Pol Roger, Bollinger and Lanson 

On Friday 21st April 2017 in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 91st Birthday, join The Ritz London and the finest selection of Royal Houses of Champagne in a unique dinner commemorating the 15th year of The Ritz London’s Royal Warrant for Banqueting and Catering Services, awarded by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Guest speakers from The Ritz London, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, GH Mumm, Pol Roger, Bollinger and Lanson will guide you through their histories and explain why each glass was specially selected for each course. An exquisite array of canapes and a four-course dinner prepared by Michelin-starred Executive Chef, John Williams MBE will be served in the regal surroundings of William Kent House, which adjoins The Ritz.

Featuring the British House of Nyetimber 

On Friday 21st July 2017 toast to the Best of British with the first producer of English sparkling wine, Nyetimber.

This evening presents a rare opportunity to enjoy the finest of British seasonal ingredients perfectly matched with the delicate flavours of the selected vintages. The event will be hosted by Tom Harrow, the Wine Guru and Contributing Editor to the WineChap, website and a regular columnist in FT’s ‘How To Spend It’ and The Economist’s More Intelligent Life. Our host’s flamboyant style and the tribute to British produce, masterfully cooked by our Michelin-starred Executive Chef, John Williams, MBE will make this a memorable British gastronomic experience.

On Thursday 12th October 2017, The Ritz is proud to host an exclusive dinner with the French art de vivre from The Rothschild family. Champagne and Bordeaux will be served with a four-course dinner created by Michelin-starred Executive Chef, John Williams, MBE and Baron Phillipe de Rothschild to compliment the complexity of each of the courses. Baron Phillipe de Rothschild will host the evening and discuss the rich and captivating history of The Ritz and The Rothschild family.

The Ritz Michelin-starred Executive Chef, John Williams, MBE and a host from Champagne house Taittinger invite you to enjoy an insight into their world of food and wine with a specially prepared gourmet four-course dinner.  The Ritz London and Taittinger have long and established histories within the gastronomic world with Le Prix Culinaire International Le Taittinger gastronomy competition reaching its 50th year in 2016.
