Celebration cakes are available to order in two different sizes, 4” and 6” inch.
Guests can enjoy a vast selection of 20 different types of loose-leaf tea and indulge in finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve and an assortment of pastries, which will be replenished on request whilst dining. As part of your special occasion celebration, our waiters will bring to your table the cake trolley for you to choose from an assortment of traditional English cakes.
Afternoon Tea prices start from £75 for adults and £53 for children. From the 1st June 2024, the price will be £76 for adults and £55 for children. Celebration cakes start from £28 for a 4′ cake and a glass of Champagne is from £23 including Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate at the time of payment. Please note, a full pre payment of £28 plus the service charge is required for the celebration cake.

Afternoon Tea is served daily at 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, and 7.30pm.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free Afternoon Tea menus are available upon request. If you or any guest in your party has dietary needs, please inform us before your visit, and we will strive to ensure our menu options suit you. Kindly note, we are unable to accommodate specific allergies with additional menu adjustments on the day. Your understanding and cooperation are valued.

The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for afternoon tea in The Palm Court, and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant and The Ritz Room. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery, Terrace and the Cigar Lounge), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, ripped jeans, trainers and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.
