Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is perfect for any celebration.
Choose your celebration cake
Celebration cakes are available to order in four different sizes, 4” and 6” inch.
Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of 20 different types of loose-leaf tea and indulge in finely cut sandwiches followed by freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve and an assortment of pastries, which will be replenished on request whilst dining.
To add to The Ritz experience our waiters will slice and serve the most traditional of English cakes directly in front of you from our cake trolley.
Afternoon Tea is served in the beautiful surroundings of The Palm Court.
Celebration cakes are priced from £28 (including Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate at the time of payment) for a 4″ cake. Please note, a full pre payment of £28 including 12.5% service charge, is required for the celebration cake.
Traditional Afternoon Tea start from £75 for adults and £53 for children. From the 1st June 2024, the price will be £76 for adults and £55 for children.

The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for afternoon tea in The Palm Court, and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant and The Ritz Room. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery, Terrace and the Cigar Lounge), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, ripped jeans, trainers and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.
