Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is perfect for any celebration. Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of 18 different types of loose-leaf tea; indulge in finely cut sandwiches followed by freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream and an assortment of pastries.

To add to The Ritz experience our waiters will slice and serve the most traditional of English cakes directly in front of you from our cake trolley. Every day our resident pianist, harpist or string quintet will play classic and contemporary tunes whilst you savour your Afternoon Tea. Every Tuesday to Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 8.45pm, Soprano Miranda Heldt will entertain you with her sensational voice and charismatic charm.

Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel’s architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club’s restaurants or bars.
