On Friday 26th June 2020 The Ritz London will host an exclusive and once in a lifetime opportunity to witness a defining moment in the history of the House of Perrier-Jouët.
In the ‘Comet Year’ of 1811 and just 12 months after their nuptials, young newlyweds Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët created their now iconic Champagne House.
172 years later in 1983 Hervé Deschamps joined Perrier-Jouët and upon becoming Chef de Caves in 1993, became only the 7th winemaker ever to make and manage the precious cuvées of the Maison.
Now, 209 years after its foundation, this year will see Hervé’s retirement and handover to Séverine Frerson, the first ever female, and only 8th ever Chef de Caves to take charge of Perrier-Jouët.
The Ritz London and both Hervé and Séverine will host this Champagne dinner in the stunning 18th Century William Kent House. This will be the only event in the UK to celebrate this special occasion. Experience this once in a lifetime occasion, honouring this milestone in the continuing story, history and future of Champagne Perrier-Jouët.
With each course beautifully paired by Executive Chef, John Williams MBE to the floral and delicate cuvées of Perrier-Jouët this is an event not to be missed.
The evening will begin at 7pm on Friday 26th June 2020.
£450 per person
Please kindly note to honour this occasion the dress code is black-tie.
