In May The Ritz Restaurant presents a special menu in celebration of the annual Chelsea Flower Show. Using edible flowering plants for both decoration and flavour, Executive Chef John Williams has created a true feast for the senses and his 'Flower Menu' will be offered in The Restaurant during the week of Monday 18th May until Saturday 23rd May. Selected flower dishes include Salad of Native Lobster with Pea Puree, Nasturtium and Cucumber Flower; Rotisserie of Spiced Duck with Prune Clafouti, Citrus Honey and Bee Pollen Jus and Hibiscus Scented Juanaja Chocolate Fondant with Hibiscus Sorbet. Thursday 25th June 2009 The Hotel's Executive Chef, John Williams, has created a five course gastronomic menu cleverly matching each course to one of the Champagne House's finest offerings, resulting in the most remarkable experience. Bollinger Ambassador, Christian Dennis will be hosting the event and will be on hand to advise diners on how best they can appreciate the different wine that will be presented with each course. This extraordinary evening will commence with a Champagne and canapé reception prior to dinner being served in the magnificent surroundings of the 18th Century William Kent House at The Ritz.
