Dining at The Ritz becomes even more exciting this year with every month featuring a unique dining experience. This enewsletter offers you a preview of what we are offering in the next few months. If you cannot make it to The Ritz then you may enjoy the chance to create one of our delicious dishes at home. Also, in this edition, to celebrate the month of romance we give you details of our St Valentine's Day celebrations.

TRUFFLES AT THE RITZ
Wednesday, 21st February
Mr Jacques Chibois, Chef Patron of the Michelin Star Bastide St Antoine Restaurant in Grasse; Dr Michel Bourdin, President of the Master of Culinary Arts and Mr Jacques Pebeyre, the "Truffle King" from France will join The Ritz Chef John Williams in preparing a veritable feast of truffle dishes for an entire evening of truffle indulgence !

THE BURGUNDY DINNER
Wednesday, 21st March
To compliment a selection of superb Burgundy wines especially chosen by Ritz Sommelier Bruno Murciano, a special menu for the dinner has been created by Executive Chef John Williams. Savour a Terrine of Bresse Chicken and Foie Gras, Fricassee of Scallop and Langoustine and Fillet of Lamb accompanied by some of the finest Burgundy wines.

JOHN WILLIAMS' MASTERCLASS
Tuesday, 17th April
A rare chance to see a master at work! Just eight privileged guests will join John Williams in the kitchens of The Ritz to witness the creation of a spectacular five course dinner, and then retire to one of the magnificent new banquet rooms in William Kent House to savour it.

Easter Programme
Celebrate Easter in style this year with a Spring break at The Ritz! Our Easter programme is valid for arrival between Monday 2nd April and Friday 13th April and is perfect for a short break or celebration in the Capital. The programme includes:

  • One night's accommodation
  • English breakfast the following morning
  • Easter three course luncheon in The Ritz Restaurant
  • A bouquet of daffodils and a gift of an Easter Egg in the room on arrival
  • Value Added Tax

Prices are from £500 based on two people sharing a twin or double room

1 kg Beef Fillet (untrimmed)
 
For Ravioli
3 Whole eggs
3 Egg yolks
600g Strong flour
Seasoning
2 tbs Olive oil
2 tbs Water
 
For Foie Gras Ravioli Filling
100g Chicken Breast
175g Double Cream
1 Egg White
125g Cooked foie gras
 
For Red Wine Jus
250g Finely sliced Shallots
250g Finely sliced Mushrooms
1 Sprig Thyme
750ml Red Wine
375ml Port
1.5 ltr Veal or lamb Stock
1 ltr Chicken Stock

Spoil Someone Special on St Valentine's Day

We have two luxurious St Valentine's Day programmes this year so there is no excuse not to spoil that someone special in your life with a romantic break at The Ritz.

These programmes include a night in the luxury of an exquisite room and waking to breakfast, served to your room or in the magnificent Ritz Restaurant.

The first option includes a three course luncheon in The Ritz Restaurant, and a glass of delicious rosé Champagne with a special gift of our exclusive Centenary Ritz Rose.

The second includes dinner and is only available on Wednesday 14th February. This programme offers a four-course dinner dance in The Ritz Restaurant with a bottle of Centenary Champagne and a gift of a Ritz Rose.

Prices for the lunch programme start from £615 and the dinner programme from £900. Both packages are based on two people sharing a double room.

Indulge yourself over St Valentine's day with a relaxing treatment at our Hair and Beauty Salon This special gift includes a choice of beauty treatment in The Ritz Salon followed by a hair cut, wash and style whilst indulging in a glass of Champagne.

This programme is available during the whole of February and prices are from £150 per person
